‘What It Isn’t encourages reflection on the nature of existence through interaction with an invisible presence. Suspended throughout the space are 500 glass pendants, each containing a vibration motor and two brass rings. These are triggered in groups, creating a body of sound. The combination of tracking cameras and bespoke software allows this sound to behave organically, fluctuating in volume and moving throughout the space in response to the viewers.
