An artwork that reflects its audience.

As visitors pass through the space their image is captured. A custom AI model creates a sketch drawing of the faces it sees, which are added live to the canvas by a robotic mechanism painting with an ink brush. 

 

The installation creates an ongoing durational performance as the vast canvas is populated and the blank space is gradually filled with the faces of those who have engaged with the piece.

The artwork celebrates the individuals who make up the communities in which it is shown, and the resulting canvases serve as enduring snapshots of these moments in time.
