‘Everything & Nothing’ documents the simultaneous decay and progress of the industrialised world in an age of relentless transformation. This site-specific video installation reveals the impact point between a steamroller and road surface, unveiling the multitude of differing reactions of pebbles and grit to the pressure of the wheel. The concept stemmed from experimental video capture of commonplace events from foreign perspectives, an insight into the hidden drama and complexity of the world all around us.
