ADAM WADEY is a London-based multidisciplinary artist & designer producing multi-sensory artworks & installations that explore perception and human behaviour in relation to space, environment & object. Often using light, water, sound & movement Wadey’s work exists at the intersection of art, science & engineering. His practice demonstrates a harmony between technical sophistication and aesthetic purity, through which he explores materiality and immateriality, the animate and inanimate alike. At the root of Adam’s conceptual thinking is the desire to challenge core held beliefs and, through disrupting such assumptions, invite alternative ways of being in and seeing the world.
From 2012 to 2017, Wadey produced works as part of collaborative art studio ‘Random International’. His work has been exhibited at various museums, galleries, festivals & art fairs, including:
PACE Gallery, NYC & London | LACMA, LA | Art Basel | Seattle Art Fair | Yuz Museum, Shanghai | Lunds Konsthall, Lund | Secret Garden Party, Cambridge
